Easter Mashup Challenge 2021 (Lamb)

My third character for the Easter Mashup Challenge is a combination of Bubbles from Powerpuff Girls and a lamb. Although I said all characters would have the same base and style, this time I tried to change it a little bit because Powerpuff Girls are drawn in that simplified Cartoon Network style with huge heads and eyes and without shading. That's why there are no details on her hair and the eyes are different (I also added her iconic blue irises, although the plan was to draw eyes in the same style for all my characters).

Here's my second drawing for the Easter Mashup Challenge, where I combine your suggested superheroes and baby animals. This time it's Drax the Destroyer from Guardians of the Galaxy, combined with a chick/chicken.

Easter Mashup Challenge 2021 (Bunny)

In case you're wondering what's happened to my Easter Mashup Challenge, don't worry, it's still on! During the process I decided to experiment with characters using the same base shape and draw them all in a form of stickers or something similar to vector objects. So far it doesn't look so bad, but I hope "life and similar disasters" won't stop me from finishing everything before Easter.

Here's my first combo, a bunny + Bucky aka The Winter Soldier. Although I usually use Jazza's Arty Games app to get random mashups, this time I decided to take one of your suggestions and draw this exact combination. 😉

The Amazing Vaccina

Here's my drawing and a story for this week's challenge by Jim Bobd Dawing Show - the prompts were "eerie" and "hero"!

"A young doctor and scientist Asthra Zenecka led an important research to find vaccine for a new mysterious illness that was rapidly spreading around the globe. Pressured by the schedule and driven by her own ambition, she released the barely tested product and although everything seemed fine in the beginning, more and more side effects started to appear. Having lost people's trust, but still believing in her project, she transformed into a superhero called The Amazing Vaccina and decided to roam the dark streets and vaccinate as many people as possible from the eerie shadows. Her primary wish was to save people, but her questionable actions and unfortunate consequences blurred the line between a hero and a villain..."

This time I decided to combine a few ideas by some of my role models: character design by Jazza, shading technique inspiration by Julia from Drawfee and writing my character's lore in a style of Christian from PopCross Studios. I hope you like the final product. At least I had a lot of fun creating it. 😊 The pose reference is from Figurosity and I was inspired by X-23 Wolverine and Bane.

Scarlet Doris

 There are so many incredible WandaVision fanart posts and I tried to join the hype, but although I already posted two drawings inspired by the show, it's hard to find time to draw everything I've been planning and I'll probably give up and move on to other projects as time goes by. 😔 Nevertheless, I felt I had to bring this weird idea to life - combining two current obsessions: WandaVision and Internet drama songs by Lubalin!

Lubalin's impersonation of Doris (from the second drama song) seemed the perfect candidate to channel Wanda's energy. In the video she's suddenly emerging from the background, with wind in her hair and unexpected change in the tone of the music, coming to stand up to Helen and defend Caroline just like a superhero. Sorry, not sorry, but that image will never not be funny... 🤣🤣🤣 And so the Scarlet Doris was born!
