This year I'm using the official prompt list again (it was made by @jakeparker, who started this Inktober challenge a few years ago), but this time I'm interpreting it through the eyes of one of my newly created characters and accompanied by a short poem. This will also be a good practice for my new comic, starring the character you'll get to know pretty well this month. I'd like to believe I'm stepping up my game in relation to last year's challenge. As usual, I'm going to post here weekly (you can follow my daily posts on my IG account, FB page or dA account). These are my drawings from the third week (Day 9 - Day 15).
DAY 9: SCREECH
"Honestly, what does the owl say?
Does it only hoot in the dark?
Or does it make even more sounds
Like chirp, whistle, screech, shriek or bark?"
Like chirp, whistle, screech, shriek or bark?"
DAY 10: GIGANTIC
"Sick and tired of feeling small?
Oh, what if you could have a pill
To make your ego gigantic,
Feel more important, feel the thrill?"
DAY 11: RUN
"You can run, run, run in circles,
Run up or run down, fall or climb,
Run like the wind, run a red light,
Just run, run, till you're out of time."
DAY 12: SHATTERED
"Growing up you have to accept
That often nothing's what it seems,
And sometimes there is no way out,
But living with your shattered dreams."
DAY 13: TEEMING
"So many different faces,
Some can be seen, some stay behind,
Fighting to prevail day by day,
Constantly teeming in my mind."
DAY 14: FIERCE
"Many people seem to be calm,
Keeping themselves from exploding,
Suddenly they can become fierce -
Just like the wolves in sheep's clothing!"
DAY 15: MYSTERIOUS
"Be mysterious just a bit
And beware not to lose your touch,
'Cause some mystery can be fine,
But how much is really too much?"
