Speed

Now that we have Wiccan, it's time for his brother Speed. I hope we'll see him soon in a possible Agatha All Along sequel (as he was basically introduced there), in some spin-off, or in Young Avengers. It would also be nice to see a reunion and maybe a team-up with their mother, Scarlet Witch. ❤️

As it's still not known what his costume would look like, I used a version from the comics. The running pose is by @theposearchives.

Davorachnid, my OC superhero and the main character in my Grdiverse project. He started as my Spidersona (as part of the Spider-Man persona challenge when the first Spider-Verse movie came out) and look at him now! I've redrawn him many times before and I hope to continue drawing him even more.

The R.I.T. Team

I've been away from all this social media stuff, but it doesn't mean I haven't been busy with my art projects. Here's another peek at my Grdiverse characters, a project I've been working on for quite some time.

October 16 is the National Boss's Day, the day dedicated to all employers, but it seemed like a perfect opportunity to present my three main villains (or evil bosses), whose plan is to cause havoc, rule the world and fight our superheroes in the Grdiverse dimension. They're known as The R.I.T. Team: R stands for "ruthlessness" and is represented by Dr. Anemonica; I stands for "indulgence" and is represented by Expeditor; and T stands for "toxicity" and is represented by The Litterer, also called Tox. And there's their devoted helper with his own powers, Aresmo, one of Anemonica's "failed" experiments.

Bugs Bunny (Or What?)

This drawing of Bugs Bunny was inspired by a meme on officialworkmemes I came across a few days ago. That face with "or what" caption was just the right thing I needed to see at the moment - lately I've been trying to be more honest to myself and more direct with other people, and that's the type of attitude I've been trying to channel. 😉

Of course, I didn't want to copy the exact scene from the cartoon, so I changed it and drew him in my style. Bugs is one of my favourite characters, Warner Bros did an excellent job creating a free spirited, witty character who's often not afraid to break some stuck-up social norms. I need more determination and positivity like that in my life.

Bike (Fall)

I'm back! There have been some health issues I had to take care of, plus work related stuff as usual, but now I'm on a summer break and hopefully there'll be enough time to draw more and put some other artistic plans into motion.

After this year's health check-up, it became obvious it was high time to regulate my weight in order to avoid possible more serious health problems. Beside the proper diet plan, I have to add more physical activity to my day and, taking my usual, permanent health issues into consideration, it turned out the top three activities would be walking, riding a bike and swimming.

So it's been a fun ride - pun intended - which I just had to put into one of my drawings! They say you never forget how to ride a bike, but let's just say I've fallen more this month than I have ever in my life! 🤦‍♂️ Hopefully I'll have more luck with walking and swimming. 🤣

There's also the matter of the scorching summer weather, which usually leaves its telltale sunburn marks in the shape of the shirts I wear to work, so I've been trying to even out the tan lines with the rest of the body by wearing tank tops etc. I also shaved my head, as I sometimes do during summer, but I basically exposed another problematic skin area I have to protect from the sun now.

As for the background, I'm trying out some abstract shapes and brushes in CSP again and I'm happy with the experiment so far. That also goes to my drawing of the bike - it may not be completely correct technically, but I believe it's pretty neat for my first try.
