Challenge Mashup 2024

2024 Recap meets Art vs. Artist meets the Toon Me challenge! Here's a little bit of everything I've drawn this year - Marvel, DC, Star Trek, Star Wars, Pokémon, other popular characters and personal projects. The complete collage of my work in 2024 will be posted as usual in the first week of 2025.

It was another complicated year, the one in which I often reused some of my previous works instead of creating new ones. I decided to do something different for my physical as well as mental health - time will tell if it was positive or negative - I even had my "Britney moment" when I shaved my head (although I'm currently letting my hair grow again) and so... things happened. 🤷‍♂️ But even with obstacles, there were still many interesting drawings. I skipped some of my usual art challenges but also found enough time to enjoy drawing.

Davorachnid Xmas 2024

Here's another dynamic illustration, the last one for this year. It's my OC Davorachnid, trying to save Christmas once again. The villainous RIT Team decided to kidnap Santa Claus, but Davorachnid confronted one of the members - the speedster Quickscanner - and stopped her from destroying Santa's presents.

Pokémon Winter 2024

This year I failed to stick to my usual drawing plan and I missed my own "deadline" for a yearly Pokémon Summer illustration, so here's a little bit different version, but with the same idea: Pokémon Winter!

If you follow me long enough, you know the drill: my OC Pokémon trainers Umberto and Espina, spending their free time with Umbreon and Espeon, doing something fun - but this time in winter.

Speed

Now that we have Wiccan, it's time for his brother Speed. I hope we'll see him soon in a possible Agatha All Along sequel (as he was basically introduced there), in some spin-off, or in Young Avengers. It would also be nice to see a reunion and maybe a team-up with their mother, Scarlet Witch. ❤️

As it's still not known what his costume would look like, I used a version from the comics. The running pose is by @theposearchives.

Davorachnid Unmasked

 

Davorachnid, my OC superhero and the main character in my Grdiverse project. He started as my Spidersona (as part of the Spider-Man persona challenge when the first Spider-Verse movie came out) and look at him now! I've redrawn him many times before and I hope to continue drawing him even more.
